The Indian Golf Union (IGU) serves as the national governing body for golf, recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports and International Golf Federation. With a strong focus on excellence, IGU is dedicated to promoting and developing golfing talent across all levels i.e. grassroots, developmental and elite, through systematic training programs and world-class performance structures. The Indian Golf Union (IGU) invites applications from qualified and experienced golf coaches for empanelment with the organization for various national coaching and player development activities.

Scope of work:

• Travel as Team coach with Indian teams during national and international tournaments as and when required by the IGU.
• Assist and coach players during National squad camps as and when required by the IGU.
• Submit player progress reports after every tournament.
• Support grassroots initiatives of IGU.
• Participate in workshops, seminars and coach education programs organized by IGU

Experience required:

• Recognized coaching certification (NGAI Category A or Master Professional)
• Minimum 2+ experience as a Category A NGAI certified coach or higher.
• Good communication & interpersonal skills

Desirable required:

• Prior competitive playing experience
• Having represented India at Olympics, Asian Games and any major international tournament as an athlete in the past.
